Duncan Gunn set up in private practice in 2000 having worked at a senior level with award-winning architects ORMS and Barr Gazetas.

His London-based practice specialises in residential developments from individual extensions and refurbishments to multi-unit apartment buildings. Duncan has also designed several exciting bars and restaurants and also has experience in working with clients in the advertising sector.

Duncan is passionate about excellent design whilst understanding that pragmatism plays a large part in the success of any project. The goal for every project is to satisfy the client’s practical and aspirational needs whilst bringing the project in on time and to budget.

Although Duncan is sole principal of the practice, specialists from other professional fields can be brought in to any project if the need arises.

The practice has extensive experience of projects with budgets between £30k and £2 million. We are a RIBA Registered Practice, hold full Professional Indemnity Insurance and abide by the codes of conduct of both the RIBA and ARB.
